French Farland Cottage Loch Fyne
 

We are so pleased you’re considering a stay at French Farland. To ensure everything runs smoothly for both our guests and our home, the following terms apply to all bookings.
 

1. Booking & Payment

To secure your reservation, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance, together with a refundable £150 damages deposit, is due 6 weeks prior to your arrival date.

The £150 damages deposit will be returned to your account within 7 days of departure, following a satisfactory inspection of the cottage.

If the balance and damages deposit are not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the initial deposit.

For bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival, full payment (including the £150 damages deposit) is required at the time of booking.
 

2. Cancellations

The 20% deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 6 weeks of arrival are non-refundable unless we are able to re-let the cottage for the same period.

We strongly recommend that guests take out suitable travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
 

3. Arrival & Departure

• Arrival: From 4:00pm on your day of arrival

• Departure: By 10:00am on your day of departure

These times allow us to prepare the cottage carefully for each guest.
 

If we are able to accommodate an earlier arrival or later departure, we are always happy to do so  simply let us know in advance and we will do our very best, subject to availability.
 

4. Occupancy

French Farland sleeps 4 guests. The property must not be occupied by more than the agreed number, and only named guests may stay overnight.
 

5. Care of the Cottage

French Farland is a much-loved family home, and we kindly ask guests to treat it with care and consideration.

Please notify us as soon as possible of any damage or breakages. We reserve the right to deduct the cost of repairs, replacement, or excessive cleaning (beyond normal wear and tear) from the £150 damages deposit where necessary.
 

6. Dogs

Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

We kindly ask that dogs are not left unattended in the cottage. If you wish to allow your pets on the beds or furniture, please bring throws/ covers with you. Please ensure all pet waste is cleared from the garden and surrounding area.
 

7. Liability

Guests use the cottage and its grounds at their own risk. French Farland Cottage cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to guests or their personal belongings during their stay.
 

8. Access

In the unlikely event that urgent maintenance is required, we reserve the right to access the property. This will always be done with reasonable notice unless in the case of an emergency.
 

9. Circumstances Beyond Our Control

We cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control  including, but not limited to, severe weather, natural events, government restrictions, or utility interruptions that may affect your stay.

10. Smoking & Fire Risk
We have a strict no smoking policy in and around the cottage. We do not permit the use of candles in the cottage.
